or alternatively, the title should maybe read, “whose life is it anyway”? oh… or maybe, whose “lunch” is it anyway? or meal….
sometimes, when I was a little boy, and I constantly kept persterin’ me mum, especially when the poor thing is trying to have meaningful conversation with some relative who had come over… she’d go “yerumamaadu….pesa vidu da..” Thinking about it now, makes me a little proud, especially after having seen this marvellous video clip.
Also, there is this adage in tamizh, which compares indifferent people to buffaloes, by saying “yerumaatu mela mazha penja maari nikkariye” and other variants of the same. What I take from this is the patience inbred within the buffaloes… However, when shit goes down, and Mr. ‘Lo’s mighty ego is poked at, it definitely gets real ugly….I mean, REAL UGLY.
see this fantastic NGC video to see what I mean… also watch for the section around 05.49 and see how the lion’s (lioness maybe?) arse get thrown in the air. whoa!
From this day on, Mr. ‘Lo gets a new level of respect in my mind. You can take a bow now, you big mighty black meatloaf… I derive inspiration from your mighty spirit. Thanks for being, well… you.
Cats have 7 or 9 lives..this buffalo calf seems to have more.. have seen the clip before.. but definitely watchable over and over.
giridhar – definitely! totally agree!
