This is a picture of the Mahamaha kuLam, shot as four different pictures and then ’stitched’ into one panoramic view. I just love the way this has come out, though there is still much to be desired.
When I was looking to change the template for this blog, I was wondering I should have some pictures in it too… So I searched in my collection and finally convinced myself to use this one on the header. The picture in the header, is a slightly ‘post-processed’ version of the one shown here.

stumbled on by googling for some song from singara velan. i dont understand ragas but the list discussed many of my favourites.. will come back for more.
and the header picture is cool. apt for a blog named musicpaithiyam. one may feel like sitting on the steps and singing !
