I suddenly realized, I completely forgot to make the paper kappal, and the kathi kappal! what a damn shame!
When I said this to my mom, the last time I realized it, she couldn’t believe her ears! “yeppidi da marappe?… poda nee vella kaarana maarindrukke” and all ensued.
I have to make it a point to learn it from her when I go visiting next time.
Sad state of affairs, people.
***update: 12.27 pm – TK called me and guided me on the phone and it all came to back to me….surprising how deeply buried memories work….and I bloody made my first kappal in…like…FOREVER…. AM I FREAKIN HAPPY OR WHAT!!!
