Kannodu Kaanbadhellam…

My first camera: Canon Sureshot… got this on Amazon with my only credit card then… probably around Thanksgiving 2001. I think the camera itself cost around 80 bucks… But I still remember how many millions of times I thought over to buy that neat little point-and-shoot film camera… Here are some pictures

At some point, the film camera craze wore me out as I ended up spending more on the prints and ended up having a large number of prints as a result… So I then got a Canon Powershot A95 around July 2005 (?)… and I broke-in this little guy at the Acadia National Park, Maine.

Had the A95 for a couple years, tried a lot of different/crazy/interesting tricks with it and sometimes even got fantastic pictures out of it. However, when I took it to the Atlanta aquarium, was when I hit what might possibly be the only problem with the camera (IMO) – the lens speed. In between shots I had to wait for a while before the lens would get a clean focus again, and because of this I lost a lot of good opportunities to get better pictures….(plus the crowd was annoying!)

So, just like any amateur wannabe photographer (ok, big words, I know!), I upgraded to the Canon Rebel XT a.k.a. Canon EOS Rebel XT… and boy am I happy or what!
